Am I allowed to bring my child(ren) to ALL the activities?
YES, At all activities*, playgroups, meetings, etc. your child(ren) is/are welcome. This group is for you as much as it is for them! --*While children are welcome at all MOMS Club functions, we encourage mothers to allow fathers or other caregivers the opportunity to bond with the children one night a month while they attend MOMS Night Out. Moms will usually meet for dinner, a movie, a pottery class etc.

How much is it to join?
Our membership fee is thirty dollars a year. This covers our operating cost, the cost of renting any facilities, copies, postage, etc and subsidizes our yearly fundraising drive.

Do I have to attend every activity?
That's the beauty of the MOMS Club, although we would love for every member to attend everything, we know as mothers sometimes that is not realistic. After joining the MOMS Club you can choose to do all the events in one week; or maybe you can only make 2 events in a month. It's totally up to you.

How do I find out information about joining a playgroup?
Once you become a member, if a slot is available in an existing playgroup with the appropriate age level, then you can become a part of that particular playgroup. If however there is not existing one, we can form another one. Someone is always looking to join a playgroup!

I would like to come to a meeting and check it out to see if right for me?
Sure! You may attend two of our monthly business meetings to see if the MOMS Club meets your expectations. If it does....great, then you can choose to join!

I own a home-based business, this sounds like a perfect place to sell my product, can I do that?
Since the MOMS Club Roster is protected by the MOMS Club, you may not send or solicit members in any way. This protects the privacy of all members. The MOMS Club newsletter offers 1/2 price advertising for a nominal fee, it is a great way to let your fellow members know you have a home business.

I would like to join but I only have an infant who really cannot play yet – should I wait to join?
Even though your baby is small, you can still come to all activities. The MOMS Club is to support you, so come out and meet other moms, socialize and enjoy your time.

Can I continue to participate once my child(ren) are in school?
Absolutely. We encourage all of our members to remain active and new members to join our group after their children have reached school age. We realize that the need for support does not end when children begin school.

I work part time, can I still be part of this group for stay at home moms?
Certainly. Many of our members work part time and still find time to be actively involved in the club.

Who arranges the activities?
The members of the club volunteer to host any activity they are interested in. Calendars are put together monthly.

I do not live in the Stamford-East area. Can I still join the MOMS Club of Stamford-East?
If you do not live in our area then you need to join a MOMS Club that serves your area. Please contact the International MOMS Club at at MOMSClub@aol.com to find your closest Chapter.
